The toilet has 3 cubicles. That day I went into the toilet alone. The left and right cubicles' doors were half closed, but nobody was using it. Naturally, I went into the centre cubicle. When I was inside, I heard flushing from the left cubicle. Seconds after that, I heard flushing from the right cubicle. You might think that there was nothing wrong with toilets flushing. However, the toilets at my office were those SUPER old type, you have to manually push the handle really hard before the toilet flushes. I went out unscathed, without seeing any creepy things, but the experience was still scary enough.
During lunch that day, I began to think about my experience. Our definitions of ghosts follow scientific discovery. If we have an encounter that could be explained scientifically, we wouldn't think that it was ghostly. For example, my toilet experience. If the toilet I used was those high-tech type which automatically flushes after every 30mins, you would think I'm stupid to be scared by auto-flushing toilets. Even if the flushing was caused by ghosts, we still wouldn't be inclined to believe that way because in our minds the flushing had been explained by scientific reasons. So I started thinking along that line. Maybe ghosts aren't scary; maybe ghosts are just another phase of existence, just that it is not explained scientifically yet. In the future, maybe a type of spectacles could be invented such that the "ghosts" are visible to our eyes. Like bacteria, just because we cannot see them with naked eyes does not mean that they are not there.
Who says ghosts are scary?!
Of course, that was a means of consoling myself that my experience wasn't that scary. Deep down, I'm still very afraid of ghosts. Yes I believe that they exist, a kind of supernatural existence; whether evil or not its still debatable.

That said, it's still scary to experience something like that. Not as scary as Janvin's friend's experience though OTL
Luckily, I am really thick in the head. I would probably just think the toilets are faulty and dismiss the flushing OTL
hahahaha. I nv do bad things, but i still scared of ghosts T_T
aiyo, lols, jess .. dono saying this will scare you more or wad .. last time someone told me ghosts tend to only see things in the middle or odd numbers de, so next time maybe u can try using the first or last cubicle instead of the middle one. lols .. XD .. =X
